Morocco is strong for winter and spring motorhome touring, but it needs planning around motorway toll classes, legal campsites or aires, temporary vehicle admission, desert heat, Atlas weather and medina access.
Use campsites, aires, guarded parking, bivouacs or private permission; avoid assuming beaches, desert edges or protected natural sites are free overnight zones.
Motorway tolls are route- and class-based, and motorhome class can depend on height, axles and vehicle length. There is no broad low-emission sticker for touring motorhomes, but city geometry and local access rules are decisive.
Malaysia
Malaysia is practical for motorhomes only when foreign-vehicle registration, Road Charge/VEP, toll payment, national-park or forest permits, ferries and monsoon timing are planned before arrival.
Campsites and recreation sites are useful but may not be motorhome-specific, so confirm vehicle access, water, power, waste, security and opening status.

Foreign-registered vehicles entering Peninsular Malaysia need JPJ VEP/Road Charge checks in addition to normal highway tolls. City traffic, parking height, ferry ramps, mountain roads and protected-area access can be bigger constraints than distance.

- Forest reserves, permanent reserved forests and wildlife areas can require state forestry or park permits for entry, camping or vehicle access.
- In towns and resorts, ask before sleeping in a vehicle on private lots, beach roads or mosque/temple/church parking.
