Campendium has officially launched Campendium RV PRO, a premium annual membership aimed at making every aspect of RV life—from planning to reaching the campsite—more seamless. This initiative comes as more than 52 million North American households engaged in camping activities in 2025, according to a report by Kampgrounds of America (KOA).

The existing Campendium platform continues to provide over 50,000 campgrounds in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico along with 150,000 verified reviews for free. However, the new RV PRO membership introduces additional planning tools that address the specific realities RV travelers face, such as limited campground availability and various route challenges.

Key features of Campendium RV PRO include CAMPalerts, which notify users when sold-out campgrounds become available, as well as Autopilot, a smart trip planning tool that utilizes data from 42 million RV trips. Other functions include RV-Safe Navigation for tailored routing and Map Overlays for real-time updates on traffic and cell coverage.

Members of the Campendium RV PRO will also soon benefit from Offline Maps, allowing them to download route and campground details before connectivity issues arise, which commonly occurs in remote camping areas.

Campendium CEO Mary Heneen emphasized that the platform aims to alleviate the often burdensome planning process for RVers. By managing campground openings, creating optimal routes, and providing timely information, the service intends to enhance confidence in travel and maximize enjoyment on the road.

Campendium RV PRO is currently available for purchase at campendium.com, and a free trial is offered with each membership.
