With the introduction of the new ZWEI L, Kompanja expands its camping range. This longer variant is based on the Citroën Jumper and features a long bed along with additional storage space. In total, it can accommodate up to five sleeping places. Approximately 120 vehicles leave the Kompanja factory in Brühl each year, which has continuously developed since 2015.
The ZWEI L begins production with around 30 units. At six meters in length, it offers 58 centimeters more space compared to the 2 model without the 'L' designation.
Managing Director Ulrich Diefenbach explains that the option for longitudinal sleeping was influenced by customer requests. The long bed measures 192 centimeters in length and 196 centimeters in width, and can be utilized flexibly, for instance, as single beds or a large transverse bed.
The new model retains the proven Kompanja concept, which is modular and easily retrofittable. Diefenbach highlights that customers appreciate the high functionality and durability of the details, such as the bamboo wood used in construction. Rental companies prefer these vehicles because they are long-lasting and do not need to be replaced after a short period of use.
Notably innovative is the pull-out shower-toilet combination that offers privacy in a compact space. The ZWEI L is certified to hold up to five people and provides versatile usage. The starting price is set at €74,300 gross, which is €8,000 higher than the standard Kompanja ZWEI model.
