Grand Design RV has launched the Lineage Series E, the brand’s first gas-powered Class C motorhome, expanding its offerings for consumers transitioning to motorized RV units. This new model targets the largest segment of the Class C market, allowing more adventurers to experience the award-winning Lineage lifestyle.
Michael Hums, product manager for Grand Design’s Class C division, highlighted the versatility of the Lineage Series E, noting it appeals to first-time buyers and those upgrading from smaller Class C models. It also aims to attract customers downgrading from larger Class A diesel pushers or active users seeking quick getaway options.
The development of the Lineage Series E focuses on quality and consumer experience. Cara Sandmann, the brand manager, emphasized that today’s RV owners desire increased freedom and flexibility. The model is designed to provide no-compromise features at an accessible price point, ensuring buyers have confidence in their purchase, backed by Grand Design's reputable support.
Built on the Ford E-450 chassis, the Lineage Series E boasts enhanced ride quality with FOX suspension. The motorhome is equipped with a 310-amp-hour Lithionics lithium battery system, 180-watt solar panels, and FireFly remote monitoring, making it suitable for off-grid adventures. The design incorporates a king-size bed, a spacious bathroom, and class-leading storage while maintaining a smarter use of space.
With its modern aesthetic featuring full-body paint and European-style acrylic windows with integrated shades, the Lineage Series E aims to impress both inside and out.
The positive response from dealer previews and customer engagements suggests that this model is set to make a significant impact at upcoming RV industry events, including America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey and the Elkhart RV Dealer Open House in September.
