Mammoth Overland has announced the launch of the XLE, which stands for 'Xtinction-Level Escape.' This new trailer is touted as the brand’s most capable off-road model to date. Built on their full-height TL (Tall Boy) platform, the XLE measures nine feet and 22 inches, showcasing a durable all-aluminum aircraft-grade construction that emphasizes both spaciousness and survivability.

The President of Mammoth Overland, Scott Taylor, expressed his vision for the XLE as a platform that builds upon the capabilities demonstrated by their previous model, the ELE.

Engineers took the full-height cabin of the TL and enhanced it, leading to an interior equipped with dual medical-grade HEPA air filtration systems and bulletproof windows, ensuring a safe and controlled environment for its occupants regardless of external conditions.

The XLE features advanced security measures, including a reinforced rear vault door with a multi-point locking system. It is designed not just as a sleeping unit but as a genuine basecamp, with a significant 1,200-Amp-hour lithium battery system supported by a 400-Watt solar array and a dual propane system.

Connectivity is ensured through integrated Starlink technology, making it an ideal choice for remote operations.

Diversity in features includes a situational awareness suite with a 360-degree night-vision CCTV array and a remote-activated sonic defense system for protection against potential threats. Enhanced living conditions are provided by a rooftop observation deck and various storage options, including dual long rifle storage and an integrated medical kit.

Taylor emphasized the innovations of the XLE, claiming it embodies the concept of a mobile operations center rather than just a trailer.

Mammoth Overland, based in Woodinville, Washington, combines expertise from its parent company, Vashon Aircraft, to offer a unique product that reflects high manufacturing standards found in aircraft production. This ambition manifests in the XLE, positioning it as a standout offering in the market for off-road enthusiasts seeking adventure without compromising on comfort and security.
