MAN has launched a new, customized package for DIY builders, allowing them to order various camping-related equipment directly from the factory. This offering aims to distinguish the MAN TGE from its counterpart, the VW Crafter. Options include pop-up roofs, parking heaters, and components of onboard electronics.

The pop-up roof, exclusively developed by Reimo for MAN, provides access and a spacious cutout that increases the standing height inside the vehicle. It is available in both manual and electric versions and comes equipped with a comfortable mattress and LED light strips.

In addition to pop-up roofs, DIY builders can configure a second battery with 230-volt external supply, an optimized energy management system, swivel seats for the cab, and an awning. This significantly simplifies camper construction by avoiding time-consuming installations.

An optional performance kit boosts the engine power to up to 202 horsepower, while all-wheel drive and air suspension are available for building 4x4 campers. Other options include the KombiFree package, which integrates a variety of useful features and equipment. Pricing details are available upon request.
