The RV Industry Association (RVIA) has announced that registration is now open for its 2026 Regulatory and Safety Compliance Seminar, a complimentary event for members.

This seminar will take place on July 29 at the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, Indiana, bringing together compliance professionals, safety experts, and legal specialists to address crucial regulatory issues, recall management, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the recreational vehicle sector.

The event will kick off with a keynote address by Will Godfrey, the director of mobility, automation, and safety at Thompson Hine LLP. Following the keynote, participants can expect a series of expert-led panel discussions that will dive deep into various aspects of compliance and safety, including the identification of safety issues, maintaining a safety culture, and collaborating with dealers on recall management.

According to RVIA, the seminar is open to anyone interested, particularly those responsible for regulatory compliance and safety, as well as those looking to enhance their understanding of safety and recall processes. Attendees will have ample opportunities to engage with panelists, pose questions, and discuss important topics with industry experts.

Scheduled panelists include notable figures from across the RV industry, such as Mike Becker from Forest River, Dennis Carl from Brinkley RV, and Troy Cornell from Winnebago Industries. The RVIA noted that David Mihalick was listed twice among the participants. The seminar is supported through sponsorship from several key industry players, including Winnebago Industries, Forest River Inc., and THOR Industries.

This seminar promises to be a significant gathering for professionals dedicated to ensuring safety and compliance in the RV industry, reflecting the growing emphasis on these issues in today's market.
