The upcoming Westfalia Nansen 640 LS, set to launch in 2027, is an interesting option for travelers seeking ample space and flexibility in their campervan. The Nansen 640 LS not only features an electrically height-adjustable bed but also boasts a generous rear garage suitable for transporting bulky sports equipment.

Built on the 6.36-meter Fiat Ducato (L4/H2), the Nansen 640 LS is equipped with a 140 HP diesel engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Customers have the option to configure the engine to deliver up to 180 HP.

A central feature is the bed that can be smoothly raised, creating additional storage space when needed. There is also a large wardrobe with sliding doors on the driver's side, facilitating further access to storage.

Another highlight is the flexible rear garage, lined with aluminum chequer plate and featuring lashing eyes along its entire length. According to the manufacturer, the storage height when extended is 160 centimeters, making it easy to carry two bicycles. The bathroom is located in front of the rear garage, and its sink and mirror can be swiveled for optimal space utilization.

The kitchen in the Nansen 640 LS comes standard with a 157-liter compressor refrigerator, with an optional oven available. The two-burner cooktop and sink are designed as separate appliances for user-friendly handling.

The living area also includes a dinette that can be converted into an additional sleeping space. The rear bench in the living area features Isofix and an ergonomic backrest that can be adjusted in seat depth.

For the technical aspects, Westfalia uses a Truma D 4400 W diesel heater with a 10-liter boiler, along with insulated and heated fresh and waste water tanks. Numerous 12- and 220-volt sockets are available in the living and loading areas. Additional packages such as the 'Pack Nansen' and 'Pack 4 Seasons' offer further options tailored to user needs, including lithium batteries, solar panels, and more.
