Direct Cars has teamed up with the globally popular workwear brand Dickies to introduce an original camper van. This new model features a design inspired by "Old America." Although it is a compact light camper, it accommodates up to four passengers, with sleeping space for two adults and one child.
The vehicle is based on the "Daihatsu Hijet Truck" and stands out with its interior design. It features a brown leather sofa, earth-colored wallpaper, and vintage-style wooden furniture, all contributing to the nostalgic atmosphere of old America. Additionally, the seats are embroidered with the Dickies logo, adding a unique touch.
Functionality is also a key aspect, as the camper comes standard with essential amenities for summer camping, including an air conditioner, refrigerator, sink, and gas stove. It is equipped with a 200Ah lithium-ion battery, solar panels, and a 2000W inverter, ensuring a comfortable travel experience right from the start.
This new model will be publicly unveiled at the Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026, where attendees will receive limited edition gifts such as original tote bags and caps. Sales are expected to begin on July 11, 2026, and continue until June 28, 2027.
