Goboony has introduced Goboony Campings earlier this week, adding a new feature that enables travelers to find campgrounds and outdoor accommodations in addition to campers. The expansion remains within the existing platform but has its own designated area in the search environment, making it easier for users to plan their camping trips by integrating both camper rentals and camping sites.

The new service operates in collaboration with Ctoutvert, providing a European-focused camping offering directly on the search page. Goboony acts as a referral platform, with bookings, payments, and communications occurring directly with the campgrounds, which differs significantly from typical camper rental processes where the platform is more involved.

The camping options can be found via a separate “camping tab” within Goboony’s search page, where travelers can search by location, date, and group size. This addition shifts the focus from solely renting a vehicle to combining transport with accommodation, making it easier for those renting campers to find locations for their first or last night or stopping during their travels.

The service is expected to feature nearly 2000 campgrounds, with current listings showing 1872 available sites. However, it remains unconfirmed whether every listed site is available for direct booking at all times, as availability is subject to factors like period, type of site, occupancy, and campground management of reservations.

Goboony has gained recognition as a rental platform for camper vans, where both private and professional lessors offer their vehicles. With Goboony Campings, the platform transitions from solely focusing on camper rentals to providing a broader camping service. This integration of camper accommodations and camping sites within the same search environment is set to enhance the planning experience for travelers.
