Hobby is revamping the De Luxe caravans for the 2027 season with significant upgrades, particularly aimed at enhancing usability for campers. The most notable change will be a larger 160-liter refrigerator in most models, improving food storage capabilities. The series will maintain its recognizable design while focusing on practical improvements that cater to the needs of contemporary travelers.
In addition to the new refrigerator, Hobby is also updating the kitchen aesthetics. The changes will include a visually lighter appearance for the kitchen area, contributing to an overall more spacious feel within the caravan. The new kitchen design will not only include the refrigerator upgrade but will also feature optical enhancements to ensure it blends seamlessly with the caravan's living space.
Furthermore, Hobby is applying a more modern and lighter decor throughout the De Luxe models, including the external washroom cabinets of specific layouts. This includes adding white accents to brighten the living area, aligning with the series’ goal of being versatile yet comfortable for a variety of camping needs.
With twelve layout options still available, the De Luxe series will continue to cater to diverse preferences, from couples to families. The new exterior design for the 2027 models will also be revealed, contributing to a refreshed overall look that adheres to the brand's foundational qualities. The updated models are expected to be showcased in August when Hobby opens its order books for the new caravans.
Further details such as specific pricing and configurations for the Dutch market will become available on August 1, 2023, just in time for the first 2027 models to appear in dealer showrooms, as well as at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf and Dordt Open in Dordrecht.
