On June 26, 2026, "Lots INOUTDOOR," a new lifestyle hub combining outdoor activities, camper vans, and specialty coffee, officially opened its doors at AEON Hachioji Takiyama. A highlight of this new location is its permanent section dedicated to "Phase-Free" certified products, the first of its kind in Japan. Here, visitors can experience how everyday outdoor gear can be beneficial during emergencies.
The establishment of this new hub is based on an agreement signed on April 24, 2026, between the city of Hachioji, Bell Net, and Nihon Tokushu Body (NTB). The aim is to promote the "Hachioji Model," which utilizes phase-free certified camper vans during disasters while enhancing awareness and education in normal times.
This initiative of combining the provision of phase-free certified vehicles with promotion activities is a first in the country.
Inside the hub, visitors can see the "EXPEDITION STRIKER," Japan's first phase-free certified camper van manufactured by NTB, along with other camper vans on display. Additionally, an in-store section featuring "Captain Stag" called "CAPTAIN STAG STAND" has been set up, offering a wide range of outdoor gear that supports everyday outdoor life.
"Lots INOUTDOOR" is set to become a new sanctuary for car camping enthusiasts and outdoor fans. On the opening day, a "Grand Opening Celebration Event" was held, featuring various activities where participants could learn about the importance of disaster preparedness while having fun, including a chainsaw art show.
