On July 22, 2026, Roadtrek Inc. confirmed that it has changed ownership from Groupe Rapido to Conestogo Partners, a private holding group based in the U.S. This acquisition aims to enhance Roadtrek's presence in the outdoor recreation and leisure-mobility markets. For over 50 years, Roadtrek has been a significant player in the class B motorhome sector, achieving a peak market share of 27% in North America.

The new ownership is expected to bolster Roadtrek’s financial strength and strategic support, allowing the company to continue its investment in products, operations, and its dealer network. Despite the change in ownership, Roadtrek will maintain operations in its current Cambridge, Ontario facility and no alterations to day-to-day operations are anticipated.

Kylie Johnson, Roadtrek’s Marketing Manager, indicated that the acquisition encompasses the entire Roadtrek business. While the company will gradually phase out the Westfalia brand in North America, they will continue to collaborate with Westfalia dealers to transition them into the Roadtrek network.

The first product reflecting this merger will be the Roadtrek Wave, previously known as the Westfalia Wave, set to be produced for the 2027 model year.

Additionally, Roadtrek announced the upcoming launch of the all-new Roadtrek Rovik, the company’s first purpose-built overland adventure van, to debut at the Elkhart Open House. This introduction underscores Roadtrek’s commitment to innovation and growth in the RV market, assuring customers of sustained support and service.

With its rich history and loyal community, Roadtrek remains committed to delivering high-quality products and maintaining its legacy in the recreational vehicle industry under its new ownership.
